Massage Technician
A massage technician applicant must have 200+ hours of education. If you have 1,000+ hours please see the application section for
Holistic Health Practitioner. The process generally takes 4-8 weeks for the license to arrive to you in the mail.
The Fire Department requires an inspection of your business as part of the approval process. Please contact the Fire Inspector for an inspection appointment after you have submitted a completed application, with fees, to the Business License Officer. The Fire Inspector is available at 619.667.1470.

- Application
- Results of medical examination (provided by the applicant)
- Results of County of San Diego written/practical exam (provided by the County within one week of test)

- School transcripts showing 200+ hours of education (provided by the applicant)
