The City Council reaffirmed their commitment to their Strategic Directions and Five-Year-Goals during an annual Strategic Planning Workshop in March 2009. The Strategic Directions provide a framework for guiding the organization’s work efforts over the next several years. The Strategic Directions are reflected in the Council’s Five-Year-Goals. Based on these goals, the City management staff prepared specific Targets for Action for Fiscal Years 2009-2011. The Targets for Action constitute the City’s work plan and identify the core areas that the Council has directed staff time and resources to be focused during the current budget cycle.

Strategic Directions and Targets for Action
