Art Walk
Painted Utility Box
Painted utility box along La Mesa Boulevard
Take a stroll through downtown La Mesa and enjoy its quaint shops, eateries, and public art.

La Mesa Arts Alliance is partnering with the community to create a Walking Art Trail through the downtown village. We have chosen several utility boxes in the city to be the canvas for local artists to transform into works of art. Inside the Walking Art Trail brochure is a walking map showing the locations of the painted utility boxes. The artist who painted the individual boxes is noted in the artist key. Additional public art and local attractions are highlighted on the walking map.
